The Army Public School Ahmedabad with the present strength of 1859 was established on 01 July 1992 with the strength of 245 students from classes I to VIII. The school has been re christened as Army Public School wef 01 July 2011 and affiliation valid upto 31 Mar 2022 vide affiliation No 430021 Old No 480004. Class X was added in the year 1994-95 and class XII Science in the year 1998-99. Commerce stream for class XI commenced with effect from academic session year 2008-09. The school is governed by AWES AGs Br Integrated HQ of MoD Army New Delhi in accordance with the guidelines given in AWES Vol I for Army Public Schools 25 Mar 2019 and is managed by the School Managing Committee.
